Renovations border A67 and A40

At the start of September, there are going to be renovations on the border-buildings located at the A40 Germany and the A67 Holland, both on the Dutch side. Because of that, you can't park your normal or exceptional transports over there for possibly 3 to 4 months. Another parking-possibility isn't available over there, and it's your own responsibility to find another parking space. To minimize the difficulties, Dutch authorities have released a leaflet with more information. You can download this information in multiple languages through the following attachments:

Transport bridge pieces Tilburg

Here it was about a transport from steel bridge-pieces for the renovation of six bridges in Tilburg.

The longest 3 parts (46 meters long) are transported by the company "W. van der Meijden" from Koudekerk aan de Rijn. They did the job with two of their newest trucks with the incredible power of 530 Bhp each.

The pilot was conducted by one of their own escort drivers; mr. Coos Slappendel, in association with Pilotfarm (André Bouw)
